Peer Review Process

Double-Blind Peer Review Process

All submissions to Naveen International Journal of Multidisciplinary Sciences (NIJMS) undergo a double-blind peer review process, ensuring anonymity of both authors and reviewers throughout the evaluation.

Purpose of Peer Review

The peer review process aims to uphold the quality of manuscripts prior to publication. Typically, submitted manuscripts are assessed by two to three experts in related research fields who evaluate them for originality, validity, and significance. Their feedback assists the editorial team in determining whether manuscripts meet the standards for publication.

Key Characteristics of Peer Review

  • Exclusive Submission: Manuscripts must not be simultaneously submitted to more than one journal.

  • Scope Consideration: Naveen International Journal of Multidisciplinary Sciences (NIJMS) only reviews manuscripts within its defined scope.

  • Review by Experts: Submissions are typically reviewed by two experts, with additional reviews requested by Editors as needed.

  • Editorial Decision Making: Editors-in-Chief base publication decisions on referee reports and promptly notify authors of acceptance or rejection.

  • Confidentiality: Manuscripts are treated as confidential, and reviewers uphold strict confidentiality.

  • Conflict of Interest: Editors and reviewers disclose any conflicts of interest and refrain from evaluating submissions where conflicts may compromise objectivity.

  • Independence and Impartiality: Peer review is conducted independently to minimize bias, including cases where an Editor submits an article.

  • Reviewer Anonymity: Reviewer identities are kept confidential throughout the peer review process.

These measures ensure rigorous evaluation and maintain the integrity of the publication process at Naveen International Journal of Multidisciplinary Sciences (NIJMS).
